Monta Vista High School
Monta Vista High School is a Gold Medal School, ranked 59th nationwide, and is a California Distinguished School. In 2007, Newsweek placed Monta Vista as the 85th school nationwide in its report ranking the nation's top 1200 schools, placing us as 7th in California. The Washington Post ranked our school #57 in the United States, or 4th in California, as well. We are known throughout the area for our students who are devoted to their studies and forward-looking, preparing for their future.

We are part of the Fremont Union High School District.

Our Regional Association

Silicon Valley DECA
Silicon Valley DECA is expanding rapidly. Current member chapters include Monta Vista, Fremont, Lynbrook, Harker, Saratoga, and Milpitas. Both the Silicon Valley Leadership Development Conference (SVLDC) and DECA fashion will now be organized by Silicon Valley DECA.

California Association of DECA
Monta Vista DECA is a chapter that is part of the California Association of DECA. California DECA is a student organization whose program of leadership and personal development is designed specifically for students interested in marketing, management and entrepreneurship.

Our International Organization

International Association of DECA
With students from all across the United States, Canada, Guam, and Europe, the International Association of DECA aims to further the education of high school and college students in business, marketing, management, entrepreneurship and leadership in business, finance, hospitality and marketing sales and service. There are over 180,000 members worldwide.

Monta Vista FBLA
Monta Vista FBLA is another business club on campus, also headed by Mr. Schmidt as the advisor. "You know you go to Monta Vista... when the only fights on campus occur between [MV]DECA and [MV]FBLA."
